You can see that we are delighted to announce that our Digital Show is being showcased at Liverpool Walker Art Gallery for the final two weeks of the Liverpool Biennial. The Walker is probably the biggest municipal art gallery outside London and is The National Gallery of the North.
Ok, strictly speaking its offline as we created a looping slideshow with each image displaying for about 6 seconds and its just the images, there's no text other than the notice above the screen explaining what its all about.
Also its just showing on this one screen but its right next to the John Moores painting prize exhibition which is a major part of the Biennial and this is the Walker! Its a major thing to have an exhibition here, however small.
Not entirely sure of the etiquette as the Walker did not commission or curate the work, they are merely facilitating the showing of it as a temporary display. So the artists in the show would be stretching things a bit to say they have exhibited at the Walker but could probably say they were part of an exhibition which was shown at the Walker. I think.
