Thousand Sketches

thousand-sketches-vw.jpg

Some of the pictures really are very sketchy but I like this idea and some are very good.

I am Walter Logeman, I live in Christchurch, New Zealand. This is a project to do a thousand sketches using a Tablet PC, in one year, the southern hemisphere spring 2006 to spring 2007. The sketches are all created digitally. There is an original file, but not an original physical object. The sketches are presented in the following ways, other ways may emerge as the project unfolds:

* On the 'Web Gallery' http://www.thousandsketches.com with minimal clutter and no comment.

* In this weblog with my notes & technical details & comment & discussion.

* Prints. A3+ and A4 Giclée archival quality prints. Prints are available in numbered, named, signed and dated editions limited to 25. Prints can be purchased online.

* The images can be linked to and or downloaded for personal use. They are covered by a Creative Commons Licence

* A presentation that includes: digital projection, a talk about the process & the project, a display of prints. Please enquire.
