Digital Online Art Events

Digital Online Art

Come and enjoy the celebration and get involved with the traditional arts, whether it be music, song, dance or storytelling – right here in the heart of Scotland’s capital city.

Digital art brings together a large number of contributors from all over the UK and beyond, for a real celebration of all that is wonderful about the grassroots traditional arts in UK. With more than 30 contributing organisations, Digital Art proudly showcases local talent alongside international acts.

Exploring types of art

Whether you’re familiar with the traditional arts or are reaching out and experiencing what they have to offer for the first time there is something for everyone to enjoy, from family friendly workshops and concerts to late night gigs and award winning folk clubs. To get everyone moving there are also some great ceilidhs led by some of the best bands around, complete with introductions to dances for those who may be unsure of how to go!

The best success

Following on from last year’s success, the street fair returns for Easter weekend (6-9 April) with a plethora of stalls with food and drink, crafts, fashion and music, all celebrating the very best of Scotland. The festival is a Council led project, which owes much to the support of our sponsors, and I would just like to express my gratitude for their support and assistance.
